Our general practitioners, registered nurses, physicians, midwives and other specialists truly understand women’s health. We’re experienced in managing gender-specific conditions such as endometriosis, pelvic pain, midwifery, perimenopause and menopause, perinatal care, pelvic floor health, sexual health and gender-affirming care for transgender women and men.
Our women’s health physiotherapist supports women with a wide range of concerns — from pelvic pain, leaking, and prolapse, to painful sex, bladder and bowel issues, and pelvic floor changes during pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and menopause. Whatever you are experiencing, you do not have to just put up with it.
Our practitioners are consistently informed about the latest developments in women’s healthcare, ensuring all treatment plans are grounded in current research and best practice. You may receive referrals for other specialists as we understand health is holistic and medical care plays just one part in your overall health and wellbeing. We can connect you with Luma’s other services too, such as counselling, support groups, mental health programs, as well as refer you to external service providers.

Our team
Dr Michelle brings over two decades of medical experience to Luma. She worked in sexual health at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital, the Royal Perth Hospital and most recently was the co-director of Sexual Health North. Dr Michelle puts women at ease while discussing sexual health, with no judgement, empathy and a healthy dose of humour.
Dr Danel has 25 years of general practice experience, is a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery, a fellow of the RACGP and is a certified SCOPE practitioner with the World Obesity Federation. Danel enjoys all aspects of general practice is passionate about delivering holistic, patient-centred care to women.
Jen is a dedicated registered nurse with over seven years of acute care experience in paediatrics. She focuses on women’s and children’s health, specialising in women’s reproductive and sexual health. Jen is passionate about providing excellent, holistic and empathetic care for women at our women’s health clinic in Joondalup.
Ebynee has 20 years’ experience in women’s health, sexual health and midwifery. She’s passionate about providing holistic care that’s respectful and responsive to individual needs. Ebynee works primarily in our Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic, creating a safe, supportive space where women feel heard, understood and empowered.
Jacinta is an experienced Registered Nurse and Endorsed Midwife with a strong background in in-hospital midwifery care. Her warm, gentle, and evidence-based approach helps new mothers feel supported and confident from early pregnancy all the way through to post-partum.
Odette Gaynor is a physiotherapist with over 15 years of experience in continence and pelvic health, holding a Masters of Clinical Physiotherapy (Continence and Pelvic Health). She has worked across disability, aged care, and public hospital settings, and is passionate about delivering inclusive, high-quality continence care to women in WA.
