A weekly self-help group, led by peer workers, for anyone aged 16-20 experiencing an eating disorder.
This free program consists of a weekly and ongoing self-help group, facilitated by peer workers.
Our peer workers have been through an eating disorder and recovery. They’ve walked the path, and they get it. Being supported by lived experience is known to deeply enhance support, recovery, and treatment.
This program offers activities and take-home tasks to keep the process of healing consistent. It helps you to build a positive sense of self that’s separate from the eating disorder. You’ll get the chance to connect with others your age who are on a similar path.
We know that eating disorders affect every part of health, so all youth participants can access free art therapy, nutrition support from our dietitian, and physical checkups in our medical clinic – so you’re cared for, inside and out.
Fill in our referral form below to join, and feel free to email us at bep@luma.org.au or call 63305400 with any questions.
