- Panellist, Dr Simone Altaf: Few people understand women’s hormonal health like Dr Simone Altaf. Time and again, women come to her after years of being dismissed or misdiagnosed and finally get the answers and diagnosis they’ve been waiting for. Midwife, doctor and one of the state’s leading menopause GPs, she brings 24 years of deep expertise in contraception, menopause and women’s health, and a gentle, knowledgeable approach women feel the moment they walk in. As Luma’s Medical Director, she joins the panel to explore where women’s hormonal health is headed next.
- Panellist, Dr Alyx Robinson is a resident medical officer in Western Australia’s public hospital system and an emerging voice in the future of women’s health. With experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she is building deep clinical experience at the frontline of women’s care, grounded in a Master of Public Health from UWA and a genuine passion for reproductive health. Alyx has presented research on endometriosis and women’s health both locally and overseas. As one of the next generation’s doctors stepping into this space, she brings a fresh clinical eye and a bold sense of where women’s health is headed next.
- Panellist, Hon Dr Katrina Stratton: Bringing the view from inside government, Dr Katrina Stratton joins our panel with a background in social work and a driving passion for social justice and change. She’s a strong advocate for women’s health, particularly menopause care, and offers a rare thing on a health panel: the perspective of someone helping to shape policy from the inside.
