A weekly group for people who are supporting someone under 21 years old with an eating disorder.
This free weekly, supportive group is for those supporting a loved one (under the age of 20) experiencing an eating disorder. It runs at the same time and location as our Youth Program.
- Meet and connect, face-to-face or online, with others in a similar situation to you.
- Hear recovery stories.
- Guest presentation from our dietitian.
- Receive information and resources about the nature of an eating disorder and recovery.
- Central location in Northbridge or via MS teams.
This program will give you information, resources and psychoeducation around the nature of eating disorders, and provide an opportunity for you to feel understood, validate and empowered to continue in your vital role as an ally. It’s delivered by our incredible lived-experience team, led by our carer peer: our Body Esteem Program.
We deliver weekly informative sessions online and in-person for parents and carers who are supporting a young person under 21 years old. The group is open and ongoing, so you can join at any time.
*Please note: this program is only available for people based in Western Australia.
